A Quick Update on Will
We want to thank everyone again for praying so often & so hard for our son Will. Many of you have asked so we wanted to give a quick update with hopefully more news coming soon.
The bottom line is that we’re still waiting. And waiting is hard. You know? Many of you have been there so you know exactly where we’re at.
The second biopsy yielded the same inconclusive results. Basically, in children it’s very difficult to distinguish if these types of abnormal cells are benign or cancerous. It’s almost identical in the way it presents.
So… we’re asking our insurance to allow another test on the same biopsy samples already taken which could give us more information as we try to discern the next best step. So be praying about that. It’s an expensive test but it could give us more answers. Obviously we’re trying to avoid further survey if possible.
If we can’t get a conclusive result we can either do nothing & hope for the best or go ahead & treat it like Melanoma & do the surgery.
That’s basically where we’re at. More waiting & more praying.
But we know that those who wait on the Lord wait expectantly & with great hope.
